Walk The Six West Event 2019

Walk The Six West took place Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday August 4th, 2019

We walked along the shared path and witnessed the magic of outdoor theatre as we celebrated the diverse human history of the Humber River. We discovered six theatrical installations sharing Indigenous, Francophone, and Newcomer stories of the Humber River region. Featuring performances by Mixed Company Theatre, Ars Musica, Jason Wilson’s Sumach Roots, Cheri Maracle, Erika MacNeil with Eric Cadesky, and more. This family-friendly and accessible event was FREE and OPEN to all members of the public.

We would like to acknowledge that we are on sacred Indigenous territory and thank the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation for being the stewards of this land.
